I had the privilege of being coached by Tommy Tate at both the club and high school levels, and his influence was instrumental in my development as both a player and a person. Coach Tate’s belief in my potential and his dedication to developing my game were instrumental in helping me reach the next level. Under his guidance, I earned Gatorade Player of the Year for Nevada and multiple Division I offers, eventually going on to play Division I soccer at Santa Clara University and the University of Washington. Beyond technical and tactical development, Coach Tate emphasized discipline, leadership, and accountability—qualities that have continued to serve me on and off the field.
